Samir Adams Ghosh has 30 years of tech operational experience including 6 start-ups and management experience at Microsoft, IBM Lotus, and P&G. Samir recently led marketing at Atheer, maker of industry-leading enterprise Augmented Reality (AR) smartglasses, gesture control software, and a SaaS platform for automated field guidance and remote expert collaboration. Prior, as CEO/CMO of WaveMaker, Samir turned around a technology acquisition from VMware into an award winning 100-person startup providing a Rapid App Development and Delivery (RADD) platform for enterprise web & mobile apps. Before that, Samir launched and successfully sold Qontext (enterprise social collaboration) to Autodesk (NASDAQ:ADSK) in 2 years. At Microsoft, Samir was part of an elite marketing team focused on winning the largest, most competitive enterprise accounts. He was one of the first 10 employees in Lotus Corp’s consulting division that grew to 800+, and was the 8th employee at Intellution that grew to 400+ and was acquired by Emerson Electric (NYSE:EMR).

Samir has cross-functional experience in Marketing, Strategy, Product Management, Business Development, and Software Engineering addressing various customer industries including Advertising & PR, Automotive, Banking & Finance, Consumer Goods, Electronics, Entertainment, Government, Healthcare, Insurance, Legal, Manufacturing, Oil & Gas, Pharmaceutical, Real Estate, Transportation, Utility, et. al.

Samir has lived and worked globally in the US, Belgium, England, Germany, Holland, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Sweden.

Samir also advises and invests in technology startups within segments including 3D Printing, Augmented Reality (AR), Automotive, Big Data, Biotechnology, Data Backup, Drones, Document Management, E-Commerce, Environment, ERP, Healthcare, Image & Vision Processing, IoT, Legal, Logistics, Messaging, Mobile, Music, Recruiting, Retail, Search, Security, Social Media, Sports, Workflow. Samir is an active mentor and coach for SF-based Alchemist Enterprise Accelerator’s portfolio companies.

Samir has a BS in CS from WPI, an MBA from UCLA Anderson, and an International Business Degree from the Stockholm School of Economics.
